Hiding behind masks, scarred and weak
Fooling you into thinking she’s so strong
So brave and secure,
Never had a problem she couldn’t deal with.
Your problems, hers?
It really doesn’t matter she’ll take care of it
She’ll be there for you where she isn’t for herself
Hidden and weeping, never brave enough,
To show her true self, trapped in her lies
Being free is like hope, lost forever,
In the tangled web that she calls her life
Watching trying to remember her self
Pretending nothing is wrong is her goal
She’s hidden hoping no one sees
What she is trying so hard to hide
She is forever hidden behind the masks
The ones she’s come to rely on.
